B A T T E R Y "A" 997th Field Artillery Battalian 20 May 1945 The second battalian 195th F.A. was activated on the 14th day of April 1942. At that time this unit, designated as "D" Btry 195th F.A. consisted of one officer (Capt George L. Wilson then 1st Lt) and 19 enlisted men. The battalian was activated at Camp San Luis Obispo Calif.
