My wife is Charlotte. She is a Family and Consumer Economics Educator
for the University of Illinois Cooperative Extension Service. She works
out of Mt. Vernon, IL, where we have our residence. I commute on weekends.
We have three grown children. Lisa is a massage therapist who lives in
Hot Springs, Arkansas. Cheryl lives in St. Charles, MO, with her husband,
Steve. Steve is employed by Sun Microsystems. They have two children, Andrew
and Courtney. Tim is just completed his MBA degree at SIUC. He also
has an agriculture degree from UT at Martin, TN.
My wife and I enjoy traveling. We travel mostly in the US but some
in the rest of North America. Since we were married, 10 years ago, we have
been in 39 US states and 8 countries. We make two or three pleasure trips
a year. This past year we went on a cruise to Norway and to the Artic
ice pack and we purchased a motorhome which we used to tour Colorado.
We were country before country was cool. Whenever we can we go dancing.
Mostly it is country dancing, but we also enjoy ballroom dancing. We, however,
dance strictly for fun. We do not try to compete with the younger crowd.
